Dolly-Parton

Dolly Parton was born on the 19th January, 1946 in Locust Ridge Tenn. She lived alongside 12 other kids. Her imaginative mind was a great way to get away from the pressures of daily life. The songs she wrote were composed before she knew how to write or read. Within 8 years she was playing her first guitar. At age 11, she began to sing at Knoxville Tenn's local radio station. That following year, Gold Band Records was a small independent record label. Even though she became a local star while in high school, her ambitions were greater. In the exact day that she was able to graduate from high school, it was 1964. Dumb Blonde (both 1967) and Something Fishy were among her first Monument Records chart-topping records. Porter Wagoner began looking for female singers to join his syndicated television program at around the same at the same time. Parton accepted the role in 1966, she joined RCA Records in 1968, and then the Grand Ole Opry was founded in the year 1969. The show was cancelled by Wagoner, but in 1974, because her albums on her own like Joshua Coat Of Many Colors and Jolene outsold their collaborations. Parton, after the split of their collaboration with Wagoner she wrote the song"I'll Always Be Loved" by You and had it reach No. The first time in 1974.
