Her graduation from Germantown Friends School which is located in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood in 1994. When she graduated at Harvard College in 1998, she went to Harvard College and earned her Bachelor of Arts. Welker was married John Hughes in Philadelphia, who was an acclaimed marketing director. The couple have two daughters. In 2014, they started being involved in an affair. John is her husband, and 4 years younger than her. They were enjoying their relationship, so they decided to keep their friendship going. They were married on the 4th of March 2017. Philadelphia Pennsylvania was the location for the wedding.
