Sebera earned a Bachelor's Degree from Kent State University in Design, Fashion, Marketing and Merchandising at Kent State University in 2011 as well as a minor in Business Administration. Sebera was a participant in many sports before returning to gymnastics. Sebera ended up putting down gymnastics when she was 18 because of serious ankle injuries.
