Paula Patton is an actress and producer well-known for her starring roles in the action movie Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and the romantic film Precious. She was born into a middle-class household located in Los Angeles, she harboured big dreams as a child. Her mom was obsessed with films and was able to instill a love of films into her daughter. Paula was a fan of school co-curricular activities and was particularly fond of drama. She enjoyed performing in stage productions together with her fellow students. She acted in many productions at her high school Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and then decided to pursue acting as a profession. Even though she loved the work she was doing, she yearned for acting roles. She began her acting career by playing a minor role in the film romantic comedy Hitch with Will Smith. Over the past few years she's been in a variety of movies and shows.
